The ss360 winter tire stands out from all other models with its 2 ply casing which offers incredible traction in all winter conditions.
On sharp ice, it does not adhere as much as a studded tire but sticks much more than any other tire without studs since its soft rubber gives better grip on ice than standard 4 season tires which get too hard in cold weather.
When there is 1cm of snow on top of the ice the studded tires lose efficiency while the ss360 demands more.
On hard packed snow trails, the traction of the ss360 is incredible and having a slim, all-connected lug(link) design prevents the left-to-right skidding that we know so well with a standard wide lug filled opening tire that let the snow escape from left to right.
When it comes to deep snow, the ss360 always tries to stay on the snow instead of digging and never getting the upper hand.
In addition, these are very light tires, we are talking about 21 lbs for a 28-10-14! The weight of the wheel is a direct link to the performance of the vehicle.
